Servo motors are essential due to high force generations. The MG90S is a metal gear servo motor commonly used in RC applications like RC cars, RC boats, RC helicopters, Airplane etc. It is easy to use and very simple to fit in the enclosure due to square body shape. It has a stall torque of 1.8kg/cm when operating on 4.8V and about 2.2kg/cm when operating on 6V. Thus changing the voltage level, the torque can be adjusted. Since it supports voltage from 4.8V to 6V, operate the motor within this voltage level and do not cross the voltage beyond the maximum rated 6V.
It weighs about 13.4 grams only making this a lightweight servo motor that can be used in different applications where the weight is a crucial factor. The metal gear provides ruggedness for the motor and increases the life time of the motor since the gears will not wear out.
Important: Please note that these are not Full Metal Gear Servo motors, only the top gear comes in metal.
