Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is a latest product from Raspberry Pi Foundation with an updated 64-bit quad core processor running at 1.4GHz with built-in metal heatsink, dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless LAN, two USB 3 ports, faster (300 mbps) Ethernet, and PoE capability via a separate PoE HAT.
Raspberry Pi 4 offers ground-breaking increases in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory, and connectivity compared to the prior generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ while retaining backward compatibility and similar power consumption.
The GPIO header for Raspberry Pi 4 remains the same, with 40 pins; fully backwards-compatible with previous boards as on the previous three models of Pi. With USB 3.0 technology, and an upgraded USB/LAN chip the Pi 4 B has significantly faster-wired networking and offers 10x faster speed than the previous models of the Pi.
