The Story
This is a standard 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm female DC supply connector, and it is often times referred to as a Barrel DC connector. It is basically a low voltage DC input power connector. In power delivery applications, it can be mounted on an appliance or on a PCB and connected to a 2.1mm male power connector which supplies power from a power supply.
